Empower Growth
I specialize in helping clients work through anger, anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, and life transitions. I work with clients ages 10 years old and up.
For young clients, I offer activity therapy including sand tray, coloring, drawing, and guided imagery therapy. For adult clients I offer traditional talk therapy, but also make activity therapy available by request.
Please let me know if there is anything I can do to help you feel more comfortable in treatment. My wish is for all clients to feel relaxed and uplifted by the end of each session.
My Training & Experience
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and I earned my Master's degree in Counseling & Development from Texas Woman's University. Prior to that, I attended the University of North Texas where I earned my bachelor's degree in Visual Arts. I have worked with teens and families at Crossroads Family Services, provided chemical dependency counseling to felony probationers as a member of Dallas County's Drug Courts, and worked inpatient and outpatient clinics with children ages 6-18, and adults in crisis. I also worked as a high school crisis counselor during my Master's level internship, and worked closely to help students navigate specific issues to succeed in school.
